The 4th of July Reverse Parade will be the first time that the city of Alamogordo has planned and hosted a parade. The Reverse Parade, a celebration of New Mexico's Independence Day, is scheduled for Saturday, July 4, 2014, at 2 p.m. in front of City Hall in downtown.

Participants can tune in to KHII-FM, a local radio station with live music and fireworks. Music, fireworks and programme will also be broadcast on the radio by the Alamogordo Police and the city fire brigade.
